OceanCare is a Swiss non-profit organization. It was founded in 1989 and has a strong commitment to realistic and cooperative initiatives. The organization works at the national and international level on issues concerning marine pollution, environmental change, fisheries, whaling, sealing, marine mammals in captivity and public education. OceanCare has Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and is an official partner of the UNEP/CMS Agreement on the Conservation of Cetaceans in the Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea and Contiguous Atlantic Area (ACCOBAMS).

Pro Wildlife is a charity based in Germany, dedicated to the conservation of wildlife. The organization focuses on the protection of species in peril due to international trade, either directly through trophy hunting, whaling, poaching, capture for the international pet or entertainment trade – or, habitat destruction such as logging, marine pollution or climate change. Since it’s founding in 1999, Pro Wildlife has actively contributed to international Conventions, such as the International Whaling Commission (IWC) and the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
