Mission

OUR MISSION

Ever since the Minamata horrors of the 1970s, Japanese have been awakened to the terrible price of official indifference to mercury toxicity and the safety of our food.

Tens of thousands continue to endure the suffering of Minamata, but tens of thousands more remain at risk today because government policies still put industry interests ahead of human welfare.

Now that we understand the tragedy of Minamata and the mercury connections to autism, brain damage and behavioral disabilities, we cannot stand by while more children are being irreversibly poisoned and politicians look away.

Please join us in our campaign to ban or at the very least add warning labels to mercury toxic foods like the meat from toothed cetaceans (dolphins, pilot whales, etc.), sharks and other large marine predators which concentrate mercury more than any other ocean life.

This campaign also seeks to awaken our fellow citizens to the worst sources of mercury pollution in our air and water, which are coal fired power plants, unfiltered smelting and the incineration of medical waste. Add to this list contaminated vaccines, and the health of future generations is ever more bleak.

Until these practices are stopped our foods, and seafood in particular, will become increasingly lethal and our children – born and unborn – will be in ever increasing peril.

Please help us in this effort. Fixing failed or corrupt policies is relatively easy. Fixing stunted brains, broken dreams, and shattered lives is not.
